Hello golfers. This month we have the pleasure of reviewing one of the most intriguing items I have done so far this year. Our friends at MGI have given us the opportunity to review the MGI Sureshot SlimPRO Laser Rangefinder and it’s a product that will have the potential to disrupt the rangefinder market.
Starting with the size and the product’s name does mention ‘Slim’, however I cannot stress that this rangefinder is extremely small, which I love. Something that drives me mad is having to get my current rangefinder in and out of the case, however the MGI Sureshot SlimPRO Laser Rangefinder is perfectly sized. I had it in my pocket the whole round! In terms of length, its slightly shorter, although a little thicker than my iPhone, so it fit perfectly. However, being so small doesn’t compromise its capabilities and the next feature that I really enjoyed it is currently equipped with the fastest optics yet, while it has a 7x magnification for clear and sharp targeting.
This next feature I was impressed by, something that can be overlooked but in my opinion is very underrated. I am horrendous at remembering to bring spare batteries, therefore it is very convenient that the MGI Sureshot SlimPRO Laser Rangefinder has the USB-C charging port. It sounds like a small thing, but it makes the whole experience much more user friendly.
In terms of performance, the MGI Sureshot SlimPRO Laser Rangefinder truly delivers. The accuracy is spot on, with the rangefinder providing reliable measurements even at longer distances. The advanced laser technology ensures golfers are getting precise readings, which is crucial for those tricky shots in selecting the right club. Whether I was on the fairway or in the rough, I could trust the measurements to make better decisions. As for durability, the MGI Sureshot SlimPRO is built to last.
