THIS review we have tested and tried a combination from Motocaddy – yes, that’s right, a buggy and bag combination – the M7 Remote Buggy and the EliteFLEX Hybrid Stand Bag.
In taking a deep dive into the buggy first, personally, I am always interested in when great manufactures who produce world class products, keep evolving. I have had a long relationship with the Motocaddy buggies, from selling and leasing their products in a previous life working in a golf shop, however this was the first time for a few years I have used the buggy and the first time I have used a Motocaddy bag.
First thoughts: I didn’t read or watch any videos to see how user friendly the M7 Remote buggy can be to fold out, but I can assure you that this buggy couldn’t be easier to assemble taking it out of the box. The frame folds out with ease, the wheels are clipped in with no fuss and the weight of the battery means any male, female, senior or junior golfer can carry the battery to and from the boot of your car.
In investigating the technology behind the M7 Remote Buggy, one of the better features was the ergonomic handset which can allow forward, left, right, and reverse navigation, while the dual control mode lets you seamlessly switch to handle control when preferred. Equipped with two powerful, whisper-quiet motors and next-generation 28V technology, the M7 REMOTE delivers exceptional reliability and performance to handle the course effortlessly.
Something that I found, which leads us into the golf bag, the best feature was the ability for the buggy and bag combination. What I mean by this is the EASILOCK® compatible, with Motocaddy creating a simple lock system, where users tighten two screws into the bag and then the buggy has two designated slots for the screws to lock into. For anyone looking for a new bag or electric buggy, it can be a tricky situation, however Motocaddy have now solved this problem. It must be noted that Motocaddy have given me one of their EliteFLEX Hybrid Golf Bags, a stand bag with stand bags traditionally sitting awkwardly on electric buggies…..but not anymore. Another little side note from the EASILOCK® system is that you do not need the lower bag strap, but it remains an option you can still use.

I loved using this buggy and I really gave it a good run trailing through some thick rough, trees, slopes and uneven lies. The remote control was so easy to navigate and made the experience of playing easier and far more enjoyable.
Looking into the EliteFLEX Hybrid Golf Bag, with this bag screaming class! As soon as I ripped it out of its box, I loved the black as the main colour, and it goes very well with the grey/charcoal as the secondary colour. Traditionally I have never used a bag with 14 individual pockets so this was a first for me and took a while to adjust, however I found it way more beneficial than I thought it would be. Having clubs individually sit in their own section made finding them easier, there was way less noise caused by the iron and wedge heads banging into each other, making for a better experience using the bag. Another feature I found really underrated was that the umbrella holder was in built to the bag, rather than the pocket being external, making it easier to get the umbrella in and out of its pocket. The drinks compartment was as spacious as I have seen, a huge plus coming into the warmer weather as I have a large drink bottle and found it easy to get in and out when wanting to use it.
The Motocaddy M7 Remote and EliteFLEX Hybrid Stand Bag are an outstanding pairing. The buggy is powerful, intuitive, and easy to use, while the bag combines sleek design with highly functional features. Together, they offer a seamless experience thanks to the EASILOCK® system, solving the long-standing challenge of matching a stand bag to an electric buggy.
If looking for a premium setup this season—something that makes the game more enjoyable, practical, and stylish—it’s hard to look past this Motocaddy combination. Highly recommended.
