Professional golfer and coach-of-champions Ian Triggs is teaming up with Brookwater Golf Club to bring the world-famous Ian Triggs Golf to Queensland’s number one golf course this July.
Brookwater Golf Club is now fully-equipped with Industry-leading coaching facilities, with Ian Triggs and his team providing clinics and lessons to golfers of all ages and experience.
Ian Triggs, who has been coaching since 1978, said the new coaching facility will give him the chance to re-establish himself in Brisbane after more than a decade of coaching elite players abroad.
“I’m really looking forward to winding down and establishing myself at the beautiful Brookwater Golf Club,” Mr Triggs said.
“The Ian Triggs facility at Brookwater will be the only one in Australia, so it will be great to have a base again after so many years of travelling,” he said.
Mr Triggs, who coaches seven-time major winner Karrie Webb, said he will be working towards developing Brookwater into the ultimate destination for coaching and development.
“This is a great opportunity to get back into coaching at a grassroots level, and to work towards developing Brookwater into a hotspot of emerging professional golfers,” Mr Triggs said.
“We’ll also be teaming up with the existing Kookaburra Club at Brookwater to create one of the best facilities for children’s golfing development, as well as offering a range of programs and one-on-one lessons for golfers of all ages and experience,” he said.
Mr Triggs said the Brookwater Golf Course was one of the best in the world, with the prestigious course offering the perfect grounds to teach – and improve – golfers of all ages.
“The course at Brookwater is simply outstanding,” he said. “It’s always presented immaculately and demands a smart player – the perfect place to learn how to play a good game of golf.”
“If you can play Brookwater, you can play anywhere in the world,” he said.
Ian Triggs is just another big name to join Brookwater, with David Moore moving his famous restaurant – Drift – to the clubhouse in May, and Pat Cash opening the Pat Cash Tennis Club earlier this year.
Brookwater deputy managing director Raynuha Sinnathamby said she was thrilled to welcome one of Australia’s leading professional golf coaches to the Brookwater Golf Club.
“I am so excited to announce the launch of Ian Triggs Golf at Brookwater,” Ms Sinnathamby said.
“Brookwater is a premier golf residential community just 30 minutes from Brisbane, with the spectacular Greg Norman-designed golf course proving not only to be the centrepiece for our community, but a destination for those passionate about premium golf.”
“Ian Triggs Golf will allow us to offer residents and guests world-class coaching on a world-class course,” she said.
Professional golfer and coach, Ian Triggs has coached some of Australia’s best elite golfers for more than 20 years. Brookwater Golf Club will officially launch Ian Triggs Golf at an Open Day on Sunday, 17 July.
Brookwater is a premier golf residential community built around the Greg Norman-designed Golf Club and is part of Springfield Land Corporation’s Greater Springfield.
