The best golfers in the world, including defending champion Jason Day, will descend on TPC Sawgrass in Florida from next Friday (May 12) to contest The Players Championship.

FOX SPORTS More (Channel 507) will become the home of golf’s unofficial fifth major from Monday (May 8), when FOX SPORTS’ dedicated 24/7 pop up channel switches on.

FOX SPORTS will be the only place to watch the action unfold, beginning with Round 1, LIVE from 3.00am EST next Friday 12 May.

Tim Sheridan will be stationed on the ground at TPC Sawgrass in Florida to interview the players as they finish each round.

In addition to LIVE coverage of every round, FOX SPORTS will showcase two additional hours of LIVE content recapping the action at the conclusion of each day’s play.

World no. 3 Jason Day took out last year’s tournament with a decisive four-stroke victory, and will lead a strong Australian contingent, featuring Adam Scott and Marc Leishman.

Golf fans can warm up to the action by reliving some of The Players Championship most memorable final rounds, plus 60-minute highlights packages of past Championships.
