Go Golfing, Australia’s biggest organiser of tournaments and hosted golf tours and holidays for golfers has inked a two-year deal with Callaway Golf that is sure to please club golfers.

Go Golfing hosts 7 major tournaments each year for club golfers and the Callaway deal will see $200,000 worth of Callaway drivers, wedges, putters, golf balls and merchandise added to the already impressive prize offerings at these events.

From 2018, Callaway will be the title sponsor for Go Golfing’s Barnbougle Golf Challenge. Featuring two rounds at both the Dunes and Lost Farm courses, the 2018 event runs 13-19 January. Limited to just 100 players, this event sells out every year.

Go Golfing’s founder Peter McCarthy is pleased with the Callaway deal. “Golfers want to win the best and latest release golf product that will take their game to new heights and our deal with Callaway guarantees we can give them that. It’s no surprise big time players like Phil Mickelson, Henrik Stenson and Jim Furyk have been career players with Callaway equipment and now players in Go Golfing tournaments will be winning the custom-fitted Callaway equipment.”

Callaway Golf South Pacific’s General Manager, Matt Meredith, sees the Go Golfing partnership as a great way to engage with club golfers. “ We see this partnership as the perfect opportunity to reach out to golfers of all levels, both club members and social players.”

More than 3 decades ago, Ely Callaway, Callaway’s founder, set out to build a company that would bring more enjoyment to golfers of all skill levels. Callaway Golf is now a global company, doing business in 107 countries and 29 languages. Through an unwavering commitment to product innovation, Callaway Golf creates products and services designed to make every golfer a better golfer.

In addition to their large tournaments, Go Golfing is well known for taking golfers on hosted tours to 28 countries each year and increasingly popular golf cruises.

“At Go Golfing we bring everyday club golfers together for the best time of their life. Now, if you’re a winner at one of our tournaments or tour events, you will proudly pop the latest release Callaway equipment into your golf bag. Our partnership with Callaway is a great deal for golfers.”
