Majestic Creek is a 27-hole gem lying in beautiful countryside just 25 minutes outside of the Royal town of Hua Hin. Recent renovations and the re-laying of greens have transformed this sleeping giant into one of the best golfing experiences in this renowned golfing area.
The cooling ocean breeze at Sea Pines Golf Club can be a blessing on hot days but a curse when it picks up on the holes closer to the sea, turning the relatively easy play into some challenging game. The course’s namesake pine trees are dotted along the edge of the beach and beyond them is nothing but sand, clean, warm water and the distant islands in the Gulf of Thailand.
The course is quite flat but with plenty of water to keep you on your toes, so be prepared to lose a ball or two. The new greens run slow but true, and the last three holes are among the most memorable in Hua Hin.
Jack Nicklaus designed all 27 holes at Springfield Royal Golf Resort at Cha-am. The Mountain (A) and Lake (B) nines make up the first-rate 18-hole configuration. Springfield has been designed to meet the high demands of a championship golf course and yet it remains an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards.
Imperial Lake View Golf Resort offers 36 holes in one of the most scenic and pleasant areas in Hua Hin. The course features small streams and a large lake dividing it in two. Look out for the 14th hole with its tee box on a small island and the green on another island 210 yards away – all surrounded by water.
