I’VE always said to play well you need to dress well … and that also goes for wearing the latest and greatest in footwear.
This month Adidas has taken my thoughts to a new level. From now on its ‘look great and play great’.
I’ve been extremely fortunate to be reviewing the new Adidas Codechaos 22 Spikeless Shoes and boy are they the bee’s knees!
In the past I’ve worn many different brands of shoes, however I’ve always landed on wearing a more casual shoe. Most days I’m on my feet all day teaching, so I love a casual golf shoe that can go from the golf course to the pub.
When opening the box they arrived in, you couldn’t wipe the smile off my face.
Tearing through the tissue paper, I put them on straight away and they haven’t left my feet since. I must say I am a fan of the Adidas gear as a general rule and have owned many pairs in the past.
From a comfort and look point of view, Adidas has always been a standout. This is the first pair of shoes I’ve worn where the design is somewhat of a look to the future with at least half of the shoe made with a series of recycled materials.
While I’m not sure if I’d buy a shoe just based on the sustainability aspect, knowing it is supporting recycled content makes me feel much better and it doesn’t hurt that they look great.
Let’s talk more specifics about the shoe.
Adidas has stated that this product represents just one of their solutions to help end plastic waste. Adidas Boost delivers incredible energy return and instant comfort with each step to keep you going. Twist Grip outsole with gripmore® rubber matches the shifting weight of the body for secure footing through the entire swing.
It’s time to turn up your game.
Take the lead in these adidas Codechaos 22 golf shoes. With a design that amplifies everything a spikeless shoe can be, they set you up to shave strokes with style.
From the stance stability of the wraparound outsole to the swing-boosting traction of Twist Grip and the energised feel of full-length Boost, they maximise everything you need on the course. Tour-level performance has never looked like this before.
Overall, the Adidas Codechaos 22 Spikeless Shoes are an absolute winner.
The width of the shoes makes them a great fit, each step feels like I am walking on clouds with their Adi Boost Mid sole. They are extremely easy to clean for when the golf course is wet during winter. The shoes are also waterproof.
The shoes come in four different colour options for men, three different for women and three different for juniors. The option for BOA is also available so knowing they provide different colours with different lace options gives variety and choice.
I love knowing that I can comfortably stand all day in these shoes without my feet hurting, and they go with any outfit I put on which is a nice bonus.
RRP: $270 Mens BOA / $240 Mens laced.
