MoonahLinks

One of the premier golf resorts in Victoria, Moonah Links Resort offers two world-class championship golf courses, each boasting superior course conditions which assure year-round playability.

The Open Course is a true test of golf. Designed to host the Australian Open, the course is long, challenging and full of risk-reward situations. It is a visually stunning course that offers some of the most amazing scenery around, and some of the best-conditioned greens in the area.

The Legends Course offers the perfect complement to the Open Course. While equally stunning in both design, scenery and conditioning, the Legends Course gives golfers of all levels a setting that is fun and challenging. Complementing the course facilities are a driving range and practice facilities designed to Australian Institute of Sport specifications and one of the foremost elite training facilities in world golf.

Moonah Links Golf Academy, located adjacent to the resort, is the perfect accommodation option for social groups of all sizes. Featuring a large Main House and two separate villas, the facility is an affordable option for large social groups, accommodating anywhere from 10 to 38 people.

The Moonah Links Golf Academy was a purpose-built golf training facility to embrace and improve some of Australia’s now world-class players. Geoff Ogilvy, Mat Goggin and Jason Day are but a few of the names who have all passed through elite development programs at MLGA.

Best of all, it is now available as a comfortable and fun accommodation option for golfers of all levels. Inside Golf has stayed at the Moonah Links Golf Academy on a number of occasions (including many “Boys golf weekends”), and we can attest that it is one of our favourite places to stay, as it has all of the amenities for a truly fun trip with the gang. The Main House features a fully-equipped kitchen for self-catering—with multiple refrigerators, ovens, large BBQ area, full-set of cookware, plates and utensils…the works. This is ideal for those groups who like to cook large meals for the boys—from a BBQ cookup to more intricate Masterchef-inspired delicacies. The large dining table lends itself well to group meals, where golfers can chat and share their stories of a great day on the course, or plan their strategies for the next day.

The meal done, golfers can catch the footy or the golf on Foxtel, or battle it out on the pool table, foosball or air hockey tables. The Academy’s two villas—separate to the Main House—feature multiple rooms (twin and triple-share available), with a shared kitchenettes and refrigerators, as well as comfortable sitting rooms and patio areas. There is also plenty of dedicated parking for groups of most sizes.

For a limited time, Moonah Links are offering a sensational deal for social groups. Make two bookings for your Social Group of 12 players or more between May and September 2017, or  May and September 2018, and receive Green Fees for just $65pp including motorised carts! To book call 03 5988 2080
