IF the whispers on the greens and conversations on the fairways are correct then the word about Precision Golf is spreading … and fast.
Precision Golf is emerging and expanding from its current location in the industrial area of Gibbes Street at Chatswood in the Lower North Shore of Sydney.
It will soon become the world’s largest indoor TrackMan Golf Performance Centre at Cromer on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
There will be 33 TrackMan units in total including 24 driving range bays with 15 meters of ball flight, five simulator bays, a BigTilt putting platform in the performance putting lab, golf coaching for groups and individuals, custom club fitting services with TrackMan technology and an indoor chipping range with 40 meters of ball flight hitting to a green with indoor bunker and an additional 3 TrackMan units.
Not to mention the 18 holes Northern Beaches themed putt putt experience.
“That’s not all. There is a Big Tilt Pro Max putting technology area and indoor bunker as well as a chipping area,” said G.M Anthony Balmer.
Since Precision Golf’s humble beginnings in 2018, it has grown its footprint and membership base to more than 500-plus active members.
The company works in conjunction with major brands like TaylorMade, Callaway, PING, Titleist, Mizuno and Srixon.
The good news for golfers is Precision Golf Cromer, powered by TrackMan and driven by TaylorMade, opens in mid-2023.
“It will be the world’s largest indoor TrackMan Golf Performance Centre,” Balmer said.
“There will be 24 TrackMan driving range bays with 15 metres of ball-flight, five TrackMan simulator bays, a tilt putting green and performance putting lab, golf coaching for groups and individuals and club-fitting.
“The 18-hole indoor putt-putt course has been professionally designed.”
Balmer says it will be a one-stop facility with repair shop, golf retail store, two function/party rooms, TPI performance-trained golf osteopath, two infrared saunas, warm-up gymnasium area, showers, lockers and changing rooms and, of course, ample parking.
