Asian Tour players have thrown in their support towards Australia’s Jarrod Lyle, who suffered a relapse of leukemia and started chemotherapy this week. Lyle played on the Asian Tour in 2005 and 2006 where he kept his full playing status before breaking onto the US PGA Tour.

Marcus Both (Aus)

I’ve been speaking to his sister and have asked to pass on my best wishes to him. He was so excited with the birth of his daughter (last weekend). Jarrod is in our thoughts. He’s beat it once before and he know what it takes to do it again. It’s so unfortunate as things were falling into place for him. He’s such a nice guy and we hope to see him out on the golf course again soon.

Scott Barr (Aus)

Jarrod, you’re a big man with a big heart. I’m sure you’ll pull through. Everyone out here will be supporting you and we all know what you came through the last time and I know you’ll do well. Good luck with the new family too.

David Gleeson (Aus)

As golfers, we put so much importance on winning. This opens up our mind to reality and we all feel for him. Jarrod is a talented golfer. It’s devastating as he’s at the peak of his career. We want to wish him well and a quick recovery.

Chris Rodgers (Eng)

Everybody wants him to get well fast especially with a new child in the family. I hope he makes a fast recovery. He has contributed to giving people hope and he’s an inspiration to a lot of golfers who has had cancer or leukemia. We wish him a fast recovery.

Adam Groom (Aus)

I would like to see him get better soon and hope to see him back on the US Tour. He’s a great guy and we wish him well.

Angelo Que (Phi)

We hope to see him coming back soon. He’s beaten it before and he can do it again. He’s in our thoughts and prayers. Jarrod, get well soon so that you can enjoy your new baby as well.

Unho Park (Aus)

It’s terrible that Jarrod has suffered a relapse but he’s beaten it before and he can certainly do it again. We are all rooting for him here and we hope to see him coming back with his golf clubs really soon. Get well soon mate.
