 This magnificent old building is now one of the most popular wedding reception and function centres in Sydney but rumor had it that the old pro-shop behind it was popular for different reasons. Apparently, the disgruntled convicts -- who were badly treated by the original builder -- haunted it.

 Steve Anderson (my MC partner), and I recently hosted the NSW PGA Awards and Trainee Induction for 2008 at the magnificent Royal Sydney Golf Club. Before I go any further, perhaps I had should explain what an “MC Partner” actually is. No…its not an African American guy wearing pants that could be used as the spinnaker on Wild Oats Xl telling us what we can’t touch. And it definitely isn’t the gay Italian man you have just left your wife for named Michelangelo.

 I have been a little confused lately. I put it down to the amount of alcohol I have consumed over Christmas and New Year. I reckon the residue of my liver could be squeezed into the fuel tank of the Shuttle which could then fly to Mars, pick up any more members of Jesper Parnevik’s family that missed the last flight and be back before John Daly missed his next cut. Now I know what you’re thinking, Larry has had an absolute blast over Christmas and I have no sympathy at all. The reality is that I sunk those skoobers for other people, not myself.
