Customised clubfitting is becoming more prevalent these days. The one-size-fits-all model is slowly giving way to more customised lengths, weights and shaft flexes. Lind Golf has taken clubfitting to the internet, offering irons, drivers, fairway metals, hybrids and more, all with the ability to have them customised to your specs. Make a few simple measurements at home (Height, wrist-to-floor, hand size and longest finger) and then enter the specs into the online “builder”. Choose shaft and grip preferences (etc) and you’ll end up with a club that is matched to your body type.
We tried this with the MiOne Driver, and were pleasantly surprised with the finished product. The driver had a good “feel” to it, was pleasantly weighted, and offered as much distance/accuracy as the other drivers tested. The sound at impact is a bit “muffled”, but it is certainly better than the high-pitched “Dink” of some other drivers.
Lind Golf is a worldwide first which offers customers the chance to not only customise their clubs for performance as outlined above, but also personalise them for style and creativity. Whilst this may not be important for some golfers, it is a really unique offering which appeals to a younger and wider demographic and will hopefully help attract a new generation of golfers to the sport. Lind Golf has taken golf club customisation to the next level with 50 million possible combinations to choose from.
