The Big Miss, Hank Haney’s new (and controversial) book on coaching Tiger Woods will hit the shelves soon, and with it should come a plethora of water cooler and 19th hole discussions.
Recent reports (and excerpts) suggest that Haney claims that Woods wanted to join the navy SEALs during the prime of his golf career, while another Haney report claims that in 2007 Woods “tore his anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in an exercise with the SEALs, not while running at home.”
The book, (Published by Crown Archetype,a division of Random House Inc., 272 pages,US$26) reportedly goes on to uncover more controversial tidbits about Tiger’s relationship with Haney, his workout regimen, his chase of Jack Nicklaus’ record and more.
