Callaway RAZR Hawk Driver

Once again Callaway has made a giant leap forward with Forged Composite technology, a joint development between Callaway and automotive maker Lamborghini.

Forged Composite™ is the lightest, strongest, most precise material ever used by either Lamborghini or Callaway. Encompassing more than 500,000 intertwined turbostratic fibers per square inch, this revolutionary material features an incredibly high threshold for withstanding the extreme forces encountered by Lamborghini and Callaway products. Forged Composite™ is one-third the density of titanium, yet features a greater load carrying capacity per unit mass in bending. The implementation of a new, proprietary isothermal forging process enables Callaway and Lamborghini engineers to incorporate Forged Composite™ into their designs with a level of precision that was previously unachievable.

This new material gave Callaway engineers the freedom to position weight exactly where they wanted to for maximized power and distance. With RAZR Hawk there are no tradeoffs. It’s golf’s first uncompromised driver.

The Standard driver is designed to appeal to a broad range of golfers. The Tour driver is designed with a lot of input from the Tour players on Callaway’s staff and is targeted specifically at better players. Both of these drivers are designed to be aerodynamically efficient (the Standard driver has 45% less drag than FT-9, its predecessor).
