Junior golfers will need to hurry if they want to play in the Ian Baker-Finch Junior Classic at Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday, November 1.

Entries close on Friday, October 23.

The tournament, which is open to male and female golfers under the age 18 on November 1, has some terrific prizes up for grabs.

For starters, the gross winning male and female will receive an all expenses paid trip to Melbourne to participate in the Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship.

But that’s not all.

A start in the Queensland Open and Australian Ladies Masters beckons for the male and female winners – subject to fulfilling entry requirements, of course.

For boys, the event has three handicap divisions – Division 1, 0-9 handicap; division 2, 10-19 and division 3, 20-36. The girls’ handicap divisions are 0-17 and 18-45.

An added bonus is Ian Baker-Finch, the 1991 Open Championship winner, will be there to present the prizes.

The $30 entry fee includes a drink and sausage sizzle.
